Jesus Segundo Cabalcar 헤수스 세군도 카발사르 주니어는 마스카라 축제의 스트리트 댄스 경연대회에서 챔피언으로 22번이나 우승한 안무가이다. 그는 또한 필리핀의 여러 마을과 도시의 다양한 축제에서 우승한 그룹들을 지도했다. 그는 필리핀을 대표하는 바콜로드 마스카라 축제 무용단의 공식 안무가이다. 1998년부터 현재까지 한국(안동, 대구 등), 일본(오사카, 도쿄 등), 홍콩, 싱가포르, 중국 등 세계 무용 페스티벌에 다수 초청되었다. Segundo Jesus Cabalcar, Jr. is a choreographer who has won 22 times as Champion of the Masskara Festival street dancing competition. He has also mentored groups that have won in different festivals in various towns and cities in the Philippines. He is the official choreographer of the Bacolod Masskara Festival Dancers that represented the Philippines. Since 1998, his dance works have been invited by a lot of international festivals held in Korea(Andong, Daegu), Japan(Osaka, Tokyo), Hong-Kong, Singapore and China, etc. |

The Bacolod City MassKara Festival Dance Team is a group of dancers mentored by Segundo Jesus Cabalçar, They are 10 out of more than 100 dancers in their team that compete in the MassKara Festival street dance and arena competition every October. They have performed the MassKara dance in various stages in the Philippines and overseas. Some of them have performed in South Korea, Japan, Thailand, Singapore and USA. |

MasKara Festival is the happiest and most colorful festival in the Philippines. It is a month-long festival with highlights held every fourth Sunday of October. It features street dancers in colorful costumes, masks and headdresses. Held in typical Oktoberfest and Mardi Gras fashion, the MassKara Festival celebration includes concerts, food fests, street parties, and many other activities that draw thousands of visitors every year In 2012, CNN named the Masskara Festival "One of the 12 best things in the Philippines. On the same year”, National Geographic cited the Masskara Festival One of the 12 must do things in the world for the month of October. The festival exemplifies the fun-loving nature of the people of Bacolod City. |
